A veteran of the United States Army , is a graduate of the University of Montevallo earning a Bachelor of Science in Sociology with a minor in Social Work and a Master of Education in Counseling.
With over 18 years of experience in social services, Connie has a vast background in substance abuse, mental health, and veteran services. She is a motivational speaker/adviser to those who seeking guidance and counseling to improve their overall quality of life.
Connie is the Co-founder and CEO of Positive Movement Inc.
Connie is a native of Birmingham, Alabama. Happily married with one adult son.
Vetrica Hill, BSW.
A Graduate of the University of Alabama, earning a Bachelor Of Social Work.
With over 15 years in social services, Vetrica has an extensive background in juvenile deviant behaviors, child welfare, eat disorders, and veteran services. Her experience ranges from direct care to non-profit administrative management, program implementation and evaluation, and operational budgets.
Vetrica is the Co-founder and CFO of Positive Movement Inc.
Vetrica is a native of Dothan, Alabama. She is the mother of beautiful daughters.
Katrese Barker, MSW.
A Birmingham native with strong ties and roots to the Birmingham community. Katrese was educated within the Birmingham City Schools system. Katrese is a 1994 graduate of Ensley Magnet High School. Katrese is a graduate of the University of Montevallo earning a Bachelor of Social Work and a Master’s in Social Work from Alabama A&M University.
With over 15 years in social service, Katrese is a MSW and is well versed in developing, managing and operating family services agencies throughout the state of Alabama.
Katrese is the Co-founder and COO of Positive Movement Inc.
Katrese is the mother of one beautiful daughter.
This is a service that provides seminars and training to civic organizations, church’s, youth groups, schools, social service agencies or other groups about various topics related to youth related topics, to include bully prevention, substance abuse prevention, positive parenting skills and/or basic living skills. This service has a $50 honorarium for Jefferson County, Alabama; outside Jefferson County, Alabama $50 + mileage. Honorarium is subject to change. Certificates are available upon request.
